Silent tears hidden behind this mask of pain
everyone seems to see my shame
"its not your fault" they all say
but if i hadn't let him in i would be happy today
sometimes life seems so unfair
and i wonder if God is really there
and if he is why would he let this happen to me,
and why would he let that bastard go free.
days drag on and hours pass by
my heart tears in half and i continue to cry
everyone says that God has his reasons
but if he does i sure cannot see them.
