This page is a special place. It belongs to all of those who would like to contribute anything. A place where other rape survivors can tell the world what happened to them. The names used may not be their own, but the story is theirs and theirs alone. A place to express yourself through poetry, or maybe something that helped you get through it all. Anything you would like to share with others, for whatever the reason.
Some people, like me for instance find they want to tell their story almost immediately. Others keep it locked away for many years, afraid and ashamed of what happend. Scared to face the truth. That doesn't make it any less a crime, or in any way made them to blame.
We all deal with things in different ways, and in our own time. You know when the time is right, when you feel safe to admit to the world "I was raped, and it wasn't my fault."
So this page is for those of you who want to tell your story, or just want to see something in "print". If you would like something to be included here just mail me it and i will post it for everyone to share. Click on the tittle to view each story.
As with other parts of the site please be aware that some things you may read here may act as a trigger, so if you are alone, or feeling particularly vunerable, read the contents with caution.

her friends boyfriend, who attacked her and her friend didn't believe
her.

He Lied This is another story by the
young girl who wrote Stolen Childhood. Not only has she survived child

tragic tale of a little girl who was abused becuase of her mothers neglect.

to share this with us, I know how hard it was to write about it.
Well done.
Stolen Childhood This is a story
of a little girl who was
only 5 or 6 when she was attacked and abused. In her own words "One thing
I have learnt out of all this is that
the worst thing you can take from a child is not their lollies, nor is
it their favorite Barbie doll, but infact the worst thing, the thing
that simply hurts the most, the one thing that you must not take is a
child’s, childhood. They can never fully grow without it.
So if your reading this, whoever you are, please never even consider
taking a child’s childhood, please, let them grow."
Laura's storyLaura was in a mentally abusive
relationship when she went to a party. She got drunk as she was upset, and

drink to blot out her problems. Now however she
has taken a big step and is dealing with her problems and getting her life back
together.
Steph's storySteph was another victim of date rape. She went to a party and ended up with a stanger taking advantage of her. It's possible she may have even been drugged, she doesn't remeber how she got into a vunurable situation. Desperation and confusion made her want to share her story. Thank you for trusting us Steph.
Queenie's story Queenie was a victim
of date rape.
Her story is not an usunusual one, she made the mistake of thinking
that someone she knew well as a friend, would never take advantage of her.
But, he did. He betrayed her trust and friendship.
Kamarie's story Kamarie has tried many
times to write her story, but this is the first time she has managed the
whole thing. It was very dificult for her, but she now feels a sense of
relief that she has been able to share it with everyone, and hopefully
help others realise that they are not alone with what has happened to them.
Paula's story This is Paula's story.
She was befriended by a man in a foreign country when she was very vunerable
after being robbed. He had other ideas of repayment for his kindness.
Paula was concerned that the graphic detail contained in her story may be too
much for some people and cause them to become distressed. Please bear this
in mind before reading it.
